Building On Your Strengths

In my blog, ‘The Building Blocks Of Confidence,’ I put together ideas about identifying what you, as an individual, need for building more confidence.

Another element of that is to identify your strengths. Focusing on those strengths will help you realize all the positive things you have to offer, which, in turn, will contribute to your confidence. Identifying and building on your strengths aids increased happiness and less stress.

The idea of building on your confidence is that it’s a skill you build, not an inherent personality trait.  A building block of confidence is to focus on your strengths.

When using your strengths you hard-wire yourself to thrive. Strengths are both things you are skilled at and that you enjoy doing. That, in turn, takes you into a flow state which leaves you feeling energised. Focusing on your strengths leads to patterns of behavior that help you perform at your best which leads to overall confidence.
