I was looking through a favorite magazine and came across an article about kindness and it got me thinking about ways to be kind in your daily life. Here are some of my ideas. I hope they encourage you and inspire you to come up with some of your own.
Have extra umbrellas at the office to hand out to co-workers who might not have one on a rainy day.
When someone in a store or restaurant gives you good service, let their manager know.
Pay it forward at a toll booth for the person in the car behind you.
After an event, donate the flowers to a nursing home.
Fill a bag with useful items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, a $20.00 bill, a blanket, etc., and when you pass a homeless person give them the bag.
Put an encouraging and loving post-it note on the mirror for a partner or a child to start their day.
On a morning when you have a bit of extra time, set the table with a tablecloth and flowers for an extra nice breakfast.
Leave a newspaper or magazine at the coffee shop or doctor’s office for the next person.
Acknowledge service people in your life with a cup of coffee, a gift certificate, a bouquet of flowers, to thank them.
Help someone out who’s loading their groceries into their car, and offer to return their shopping cart.
I am accepting new clients and offer a free consultation if you would like to explore how I can support you in creating your best life.
