My name is Sue Hurwitz, and I'm a life coach, trained in the Still Point Method of healing. I specialize in working with creative artists, especially musicians, who need to work on feeling confident onstage. I also work with business people who want to feel more comfortable while appearing in front of groups.
As an active professional chamber musician, I'm the founder of the chamber group, Resonance, the flutist in Lyric Duo, which plays at weddings and special events, and am also the flutist in Sunflower Fusion, a group which specializes in World Music.
I feel strongly in being an active advocate for the Arts. In that capacity, I am a founding member and on the board of City Arts Nashua.
As a flutist, I have performed both as a soloist and with ensembles at the Museum of Fine Arts, A Taste of the Arts, the Boston Opera House, the Hunt Memorial Building, the Parish Center for the Arts, and the Seacoast Academy of Music, among many others, also performing as a vocal soloist with the Actorsingers Chorus.
I have 17 years experience working as a Special Education teaching assistant, and currently teach enrichment classes and camps.
Professional affiliations include the National Flute Association, Chamber Music America, and the Society of Childrens' Book Writers and Illustrators.
